Dosthill Quarry is not only a lake. Dipping into the crystal-clear waters is an escape for many. The natural environment and scenery create a green oasis to relax your mind and body during your swim. Additionally, this has created a community feel down at Dosthill, with many swimmers enjoying the social aspect of swimming with friends and meeting new people. This experience has now been made even more relaxing and enjoyable with the addition of our brand new sauna.
A waterside sauna at Dosthill
At Dosthill we have added our own sauna onto the premises, allowing swimmers to unwind and seek rest after their swim. We are hopeful that this additional experience will be beneficial and popular among our community. Will relaxing in the sauna now become a part of your swimming routine? Perhaps you are not a swimmer, but if you need somewhere tranquil to relax come and give our sauna a try.
Envisioning wellness by the water’s edge
This is what your after-swim experience can now look like. Imagine you have just enjoyed a relaxing cold-water swim or plunge. You’re feeling a sense of euphoria and calmness, surrounded by immense greenery and scenic views. You enter the sauna to warm up, relax and ease your muscles. You spend your time in the sauna reflecting, chatting with friends and allowing yourself to further decompress. This allows you to slow down, take in the moment and warm up with ease. Readying you to depart from Dosthill Quarry feeling calm and restored.
What this brings to Dosthill Quarry
We believe the implementation of the sauna at Dosthill Quarry is hugely beneficial for our swimmers. It allows you to warm up comfortably and safely after exiting the water, as well as aiding in muscle recovery after your swim. Additionally, Dosthill has been transformed into not only a Quarry but a scenic wellness destination. This is expanding our community with the interests and needs of our swimmers at the forefront of our activity.
