Swimmers
“First-Time Dosthill Swim Adult” or “First-Time Dosthill Swim Junior” as appropriate. This will log you on our system, create a web account for you and flag up to our staff that on your visit we need to deliver a site orientation and carry out a floatation exercise for you.
Once you have made your first swim at Dosthill, you can continue to book using the “Adult Swim Entry Fee” or “Junior Swim Entry Fee” booking tool as appropriate.
The “old” registration system has been discontinued, but we are still holding all of the records. So if you have registered already on the old system, we will have your details. If you are a new swimmer, just make your booking online. You will be asked to confirm that you agree with the Terms and Conditions, so please read through these to be familiar with them. By creating your online account, we will hold your details on record.
The booking system has changed, in that you will now be asked to pay for your swim or dive online at the time of booking.
The new booking system will allow you to save these and set up an account, so they will be remembered at check-out.
There is a drop-down menu on the booking page – just choose the appropriate option, and the price will change accordingly.
Tracking the 10-swim pass on the old system was extremely time-consuming, especially when people got pass numbers wrong, forgot them, shared pass numbers or cancelled. With the new system, you will be able to pre-purchase a number of swims on different dates and/or times, and if you choose to pre-purchase 10 swims on different dates and/or times, the new booking system will automatically apply a £20 discount, so you will still pay £60 for 10 swims.
The discount is applied provided you put all 10 swims in a single booking, and for the same person only. Choose the swim type you want (e.g. Adult Swim, First-Time swim etc) and select “with own equipment”, which is priced at £8 as an adult swim or £4 as a junior swim. Then, on the calendar, select the 10 dates and times that you want to book – they will all appear in the white box titled “Booked Dates”, as you book each one, and the total price will change as you add each swim. Once 10 swims are added in the “Booked Dates” box, it will show a total payable of £60 (or £40 if a junior swim). Check the dates and times are correct. If not, at this point you can change them. Once you have your 10 chosen dates and times, ONLY THEN add your name, and click “Book Now”. DON’T click “Book Now” after choosing each date and time, as this treats each booking separately and, as a result, does not apply the discount.
Provided your swim pass hasn’t expired (it is valid 12 months from date of purchase) and has unused swims left on it, please continue to book via the old system on www.diveandswim.online, using your pass number. The old booking system will remain open for pass holders until the passes have either been used up or have expired. If your pass has been used up, going forward, please book on www.dosthillquarry.com (this website).
No – please use the new booking procedure. All swims are now pre-paid, and POA has been discontinued.
You can make an online booking up to 1 hour prior to your chosen start time. The new booking system is not set to accept last-minute bookings, so please plan at least 1 hour in advance. Please note that as we get busier in the summer, we may need to modify the booking cut-off time to give us time to keep the booking list updated, but we will let everyone know if and when we have to do this.
As per our Refund Policy, we are happy to reschedule a booking, provided you contact us with plenty of notice either by email or by phone (details on www.dosthill quarry.com). You will need to make a note of your order number when you receive the email booking confirmation.
As per our Refund Policy, we are happy to cancel a booking, provided there is a valid reason, and that you contact us with plenty of notice either by email or by phone (details on www.dosthillquarry.com). We will not accept a last-minute cancellation & refund, but we will change the date for you instead. However, if you are a “no-show” , the booking and payment will be forfeit. You will need to make a note of your order number when you receive the email booking confirmation. The refund will be made to the card used for the online booking.
We would like each swimmer to make their own booking, as they need to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
